Diesel Generators for Telecom

Diesel Generators ranging from 8 KVA to 30 KVA

In the telecommunications industry, even a brief power outage can be costly, which is why telecom backup power generators are important for maintaining constant, reliable operations.

Telecommunications equipment require sufficient power 24/7, but with continued grid failures and power outages threatening a telecom's bottom line, generators are currently the only cost-effective and energy-efficient solution available in the market.

Powering up Telecom Sites

Power Supply Set-up at a telecom site

The power demand on a cell site ranges from 1 kW to 8.5 kW. To ensure power availability of more than 99.95%, the OPCOs and TowerCos backup the electrical grid with a combination of batteries and diesel generator.

In most of the sites DGs (10 kVA to 15 kVA) are supplemented with battery banks of 300 Ahr to 900 Ahr.

Challenges in keeping the sites powered up

Why should you try an alternate DG supplier

  • The Regional Telecom industry is trapped in long term maintenance contracts with their DG suppliers and are unable to break through the shackles.
  • Diesel is one of the major ‘spend item’ for telecom operators and TowerCos; and inefficient DGs are burning telecom operators and TowerCos monies incessantly.
  • Inefficient DGs not only burn a hole in your pocket but are also responsible for pollution and global warming.
  • We provide you alternate highly efficient and internationally acclaimed Telecom DG and Hybrid power configurations which can offer you the best cost/efficiency.
